How to start your job search on Jobportal
Sign up as a job seeker on Jobportal here.
We recommend using your personal email address when creating your account. Registration is completely free and does not commit you to anything. Already have an account? You can sign in here.
Once registered, you can complete your job seeker profile. Adding your information carefully helps you apply for jobs faster by using the details already saved in your profile. You can add your LinkedIn profile and use it as your CV, upload your CV as a separate document, or choose whichever option suits you best. To your job applications you can also attach your portfolio.
You can apply for jobs in two different ways:
When you click the “Apply” button, the application form will automatically be filled with information from your job seeker profile. You can update the information if needed to better match the position you are applying for.
If you do not have a job seeker account yet, the application form will be empty, and you can fill in your details manually. You can also add attachments and links to your portfolio or LinkedIn profile.
After submitting your application, you will have the option to register as a job seeker. An account creation notification will be sent to the email address you provided.
- Clicking the “Apply” button will take you to a separate page where you can complete the application form.
Troubleshooting application errors
If you encounter an error while submitting your application, try refreshing the page (F5) or opening the website in another browser. If the problem persists, please contact our customer support team.
After successfully submitting your application, you will see the confirmation message: “Your application has been sent!”
You can view your submitted applications in your job seeker profile.
Currently, Jobportal does not support submitting open applications.
You can set up job alerts in your profile to receive notifications about job opportunitiesthat may interest you. We are constantly improving and developing our service to better support the needs of job seekers.
As a registered job seeker, you have the right to request the removal of your personal data from the register without unnecessary delay. To request the deletion of your account and personal data, please contact us at: asiakaspalvelu@jobportal.ee.

Rekisteröinnin yhteydessä suosittelemme valitsemaan henkilökohtaisen sähköpostiosoitteesi. Tilin luominen on täysin ilmaista eikä se sido sinua mihinkään. Jos sinulla on jo tili, voit kirjautua sisään täältä.
Rekisteröinnin jälkeen pääset täyttämään omat tietosi hakijaprofiiliin. Suosittelemme täyttämään omat tietosi huolellisesti, jolloin voit jatkossa hakea työpaikkoja entistä nopeammin käyttämällä profiilisi tietoja. Voit myös halutessasi lisätä LinkedIn -profiilisi työnhakijaprofiiliin ja käyttää sitä ansioluettelona tai voit vaihtoehtoisesti ladata CV:n erillisenä tiedostona – mikä sopii sinulle parhaiten. Tämän lisäksi voit liittää portfolion työhakemuksesi liitteeksi.
Työpaikan hakeminen tapahtuu kahdella eri tavalla:
- Painamalla kohdasta ’Hae paikkaa’, sinulle avautuu lomake, johon on automaattisesti täytetty tiedot hakijaprofiilisi mukaisesti. Voit tarvittaessa muokata tietoja vastaamaan hakemaasi työpaikkaa. Jos et ole vielä rekisteröitynyt työnhakijaksi, lomake on tällöin tyhjä ja voit täyttää tietosi siihen manuaalisesti. Lomakkeelle voi lisätä liitteitä sekä linkin esimerkiksi portfolioon tai LinkedIn profiiliin. Jos et ole vielä rekisteröitynyt työnhakijaksi, lomakkeen lähettämisen jälkeen, sinulla on mahdollisuus rekisteröityä palveluun. Saat antamaasi sähköpostiosoitteeseen ilmoituksen tunnuksien luonnista.
- Painamalla kohdasta ’Hae paikkaa’, sinut uudelleenohjataan painikkeen kautta erilliseen osoitteeseen, jossa pääset täyttämään hakemuksen.
Virhe hakemusta lähettäessä
Jos saat virheilmoituksen hakemuksen lähettämisen yhteydessä, voit kokeilla ladata sivun uudelleen (F5) tai kokeilla sivuston käyttöä toisella selaimella. Mikäli ongelma jatkuu, ole yhteydessä asiakaspalveluumme. Kun hakemuksesi on lähetetty onnistuneesti, sivulle tulee näkyviin ilmoitus: ’Hakemuksesi on lähetetty!’. Pääset tarkastelemaan hakemiasi työpaikkoja työnhakijaprofiilissasi.
Jobportaliin ei tällä hetkellä ole mahdollista jättää avointa hakemusta.
Omasta profiilistasi voit käydä määrittämässä työpaikkavahdin, jonka avulla saat helposti tietoosi sinua kiinnostavat työpaikat. Uudistamme ja kehitämme palvelua jatkuvasti vastaamaan työnhakijoiden tarpeita.
Rekisteröityneenä työnhakijana sinulla on oikeus saada tietosi poistetuksi rekisteristä ilman aiheetonta viivästystä. Tätä koskevat pyynnöt tulee lähettää osoitteeseen: asiakaspalvelu@jobportal.ee.

Profile summary
A good profile summary:
Write a short introduction that describes your background and explains why you are a suitable candidate for the position.
- Keep it within 3–4 sentences
- Describe your role and professional expertise
- Highlight your key skills and knowledge
- Include 1–2 specific achievements
Tailor your summary to the job you are applying for. If you have less work experience, focus on your career goals and transferable skills
Good examples
1. Short and results-oriented, highlighting achievements
Experienced digital marketing manager with six years of experience in leading roles within international companies. I have increased the number of leads by 300% and grown online sales from €300,000 to over €2.5 million within three years. I am looking to further develop my career and contribute my expertise to X’s marketing team.
2. Outstanding, with impressive achievements
Skilled SEO writer with ten years of experience in retail and wholesale industries across three different business areas. I specialize in creating social media content, web copy, and long-form content that highlights a brand’s unique voice and message. Over a two-year period, I helped bring 20 new clients to the company and increased the audience size by 200%. I am now looking to further develop my skills as a content creator and editor while contributing my expertise in a marketing manager role.
Bad examples
1. Does not stand out or highlight transferable skills
I am a content creator looking to work as an SEO specialist. Although I do not have previous experience in this field, I am motivated and a quick learner. My interest in how search engines work will help me perform the tasks required in your company successfully.
2. Too general and does not highlight achievements
I have worked as a digital marketing coordinator for five years. During this time, I have proven myself as a dedicated team member and have been able to work effectively in challenging situations. I am looking for new opportunities in the field of digital marketing.
